10NOV2015

I got really sick and had a birthday and ran a 10k since I last blogged here. 
My 10k happened after 2 days of stomach flu so it was slightly slower than I'd hoped and trained for but, life happens. My time was 1:19:20. Another thing that slowed me down was the last 3 miles being half trail and I DO NOT like trail... OH and it was really wet and muddy.

Yoga jog/walk 20 mins
Breakfast: cereal. Gotta stop with the cereal, almost lost it at yoga
Lunch: chicken, broccoli, quinoa over lettuce 2 T HM ranch, salad supreme.
Snack: scoop ice cream, trail mix
Dinner: nope
Dessert: HM donut scoop dark chocolate ice cream

Lunch: sonic burger 1/2 bun, tots, milkshake 
Dinner: the rest of milkshake 3 meatballs.

I stopped taking my daily Zyrtec and its amazing. I am not hungry all the time so a lot less snacking going on. I'm also a lot happier and not tired all the time. The downside is my allergies. Yikes but worth it for now

Today I found out that the Costco meatballs are 270 calories and 20 grams of fat for only 5 meatballs. ::sad face::

Diet falls apart on the weekend.

Lunch: roast quesadilla 
Snack: jello
Dinner: 1.5 cup chicken, wheat rotini pasta, red sauce/ squirt olive oil mayo sprinkle cheese, side HM apple sauce. 

I like cold cereal... A lot... But it does not FUEL my body the way I need it to. I had been having green fruit smoothies or eggs and toast/tortilla and when I eat these I am satisfied till lunch. I was hungry by 10 and craving sweets more today.

Planned Eating

Our menu planning has been in great la lately because of all the back and forth we have been doing (in the middle of a move... well, I guess more toward the end of it).
I want to do another challenge!

I have two ideas
1. Breakfast with pancakes only allowed once per week and they have to have something special about them like a filling or a topping that I have never done before (things I have done before being butter, syrup, apple sauce, powdered sugar, bananas, blueberry filling and chocolate chip filling)
2. Casseroles. This would be a lot trickier because in my humble opinion it involves more planning but I think it would be fun.
